Bradley Ray Biography

Bradley Ray made his Superbike debut in BSB at the age of 20 as he competed for Buildbase Suzuki in the 2017 season.

An impressive 11th place finish in the championship, which included a podium at Oulton Park, was then backed up by a brilliant start to his second season as he won the opening two races in 2018.

Although Ray's early charge couldn't be sustained, the British rider showed that immense potential was there. In fact, Ray was given a MotoGP test with the factory Suzuki team at Sepang the following season.

But after finishing sixth in 2018, Ray struggled for much of the 2019 BSB season as he dropped back to 11th come the end of the championship.

A move to BMW then took place in 2020, however, it was more of the same for Ray who suffered his worst championship finish (13th). It was also the first season in which Ray failed to secure a podium finish.

Results steadily picked up in 2021 as he returned to the podium on two occasions while also finding his way back into the top ten of the championship aboard the brand new M 1000 RR.

But it was in 2022 where we saw Ray's full potential. Staying with the RICH Energy OMG Team for a second season, albeit this time on Yamaha machinery, Ray and the R1 clicked immediately as he became a serious title contender from round one.

Despite several riders attempting to pose a threat, Ray had the answers for all his title rivals as he won the championship with two races remaining.

Ray's standout season was deservingly rewarded with a move to WorldSBK for 2023 where he will compete for the Motoxracing Yamaha outift.
